Community Requests

The Junior League of Worcester established the Community Request Fund in order to assist needy organizations in the form of nominal grants under $1000. Applicant organizations must be tax-exempt and need to provide training, enrichment, or education to the community. Keeping with our focus, those organizations working to raise awareness and to promote the prevention of child abuse will be given first consideration. Grant funds must be used for the initiation, continuance, or expansion of programs and services that relate to women and children.

Pakachoag Community Music School
The school was awarded $1000.00 to be used to further the school's efforts to be a “community school” by making music education financially accessible to the greater Worcester community at large through their scholarship program.
